Halibut hunting today was what was on my mind.
Consequently decide to try to hit the target in an area
a little south of Pt.Dume. Clear waters, minimal waves,
no weed problems that I could see, up and down the BU
coast, and water was not cold either !!! Walked at least two miles
one way ,and back throwing the LC. Not one hit, nibble, nothing, till
about a 1/2 mile on the last end of the two mile excursion.
Thirty feet out on a slow retrieve,with the LC and a little dab and smear

run left, run right pullin drag for thirty seconds, stop, tighten drag a little,

Next area of operation was for Perchin on the Gulp.
Been skunked here four times in a row lately, due
I am sure , as the main reason being ,there had been
hardly any decent structure there for a month, and Leo,s
been on the prowl there all that time too !!! This time, no leo,s
and if you looked real close, you could see some small trenches, holes !!!
Started catching dinks,and almost wide open on them.

Then, moving down from that hole about 25-yrds. started to get into med. ones.
