Hi E.A.R.G.,

Seriously .... there were buoys EVERYWHERE we went ......EVERYWHERE !! Hate those things .... er ..... actually I hate the ropes that I accidently hook and cannot get loose of with all that give. :(

I've started to fish the bow now a little and have to contend with the anchor rope. Learning a little on anticipating the boat swing direction and rate so as to avoid snagging the anchor rope. There's one time the buoy rope doesn't cause any trouble ..... slack above average high tide !! :)

Hi Ron,
The skunk gets the best of us.
It was real cold yesterday with those winds coming down from Idaho.
Seems the fishing, so far this year, is already better than last year though.
Thanks for the report,
Robert

Hi murrieta angler,

I'm thinking the continuing Squid bonanza has had an impact on the bite and the health of the local fish. We're catching mostly very FAT fish ! Well .... Bass anyway.

Hi DockRat.

Lets hope the Bass have a major spawn up here in the L.A. area this year.
