fished today with my bass partner and boy the conditions from one month ago and today certainly changed for the better. We caught around 15-18 bass (lost count) but all the bass weighed from 3lbs to 7.14lbs (5 bass weighed 5-6.4lbs). We fished along the flats...crankin, jigs, dropshot, rattle trap, they seemed to honed in pre spawn mode. most of the larger models were stuffed with eggs. well enjoy the pics. get out there and fish. can't wait till next time...get out there guys. fish are moving shallow. fishing will only get better as the water warms up over the next several weeks.

Nice..Looks like I should have fished bass today..

i was worried about the water temp when we fished it a few weeks prior and i guess the fishies adapt pretty well when the sun decides to play...good luck dixon

no fish finder either? Impressive.. Only 5-15ft of water? Great job on the piggies.

Thanks for the report!

Very nice report. Did you also fish the red clays cliffs and sierra cove? I should be there hopefully in a few weeks. Hoping for the same results.

thanks rapala17...all the fishies we caught yesterday were healthy. thank the wonderful vine staff for putting strict catch and release policies on the lake...without them, i'm pretty sure the bass pop would suffer a sudden drop of population. hope to see you out on the lake....tight lines
