Hey guys, looking to sell my factory wrap phenix x10

I bought this rod and only used it once in the CA aquaduct, and on its first out it caught 2 stripers.

Only imperfection on this rod is the factory epoxy started to peel behind the phenix decal so coat of epoxy was thrown on top of it.

The rod still has plastic over the top part of the split grip. I've literally only used it once. Only selling because I'm wrapping rods now and converting over all my gear to customs. And i need money to buy a school parking pass for college which is $180. Since my financial aid cant support me anymore with the current tuition increase

Its a Factory wrapped rod. Not a blem if thats what you're asking. I've seen it personally, great rod.

theres no such thing as a sold to the public complete blem rod.

2nds are either blanks, or are stripped for their components to be rewrapped onto a new blank. But never a complete rod.

Phenix sponsored fisherman usually get new rods, ive never seen one get a factory second and I know quite a few of them. Theres no point in shipping a factory second from china just to give it to a sponsored angler when the rod could be rebuilt on the spot for little cost.

edit: although now that i think about it im sure the shipping would be minute. regardless though, i know lots of companies will give the factory new rods at cost to their sponsored individuals, so theres no point in even getting a blem blank.

But usually blanks which are blems will be packaged without a manufacturers name on it and sold as "factory blem from a major manufacturer"
