Hit the rocks at sunset (again) 5 days in a row no steam, but bubble still on. :Big Grin:
These 2 guys were fly lining anchovies they caught on the Horseshoe Pier.
They said there was tons of bait below the pier Chovy Dine mix.
They were catching macs but seemed to spend more time re-baiting the hook.
I thought there was ALOT of action sat night but last night was insane too.
BREAKING WATER ALL OVER THE PLACE, BAIT DIVING OUT OF THE WATER.
BAIT DIVING ON THE ROCKS, BIRDS DIVING, INSANE AMOUNT OF MACKERAL AT KH.
THEN, HERE THEY COME, WTF DOLPHINS GOING TO JCS ?
This Pod of Dolphins comes in and is charging for JCS, Tired of Squid ?

I'm spending way more time unhooking fish than line time in the water.
After a dozen Macs on the Kastmaster I was getting tired of catching fish, we are talking hookup every cast. Any Boners out there ? Put on the LC but the Macs were too thick. Those LC hooks really suck in the dark on a WFO Mac bite.
Looking to my right I see under the pier these Dolphins Pigging out at the hand launch area, I'm thinking this is a pretty insane amount of bait. NEVER seen Dolphins eating like this 30' off the rocks.
Looking outside 4 big boats seen scooping squid off Redondo/ Flat Rock area.
Some of these Macs were on the big side, I was practicing the
'BrandonFish Water Ski Them in Method' then went with a loose drag to spend more time with the line in the water.
When will fellow FNNers ever show up ? WTF Look for the guy with the Rod Bent :ROFL:
Show up at 5 between the Short Pier and Samba. :Secret: LOL
20+ Macs in less than 45 min C&R. No Bonito due to the Million Mac March Invasion.
Tired of catching fish :Dead Horse: FYI When you see the sign that says ' Keep off the Sea Wall, No Fishing '
That means you can go on the rocks at the entry gap and fish legally.
NO FISHING ON TOP OF THE WALL.
Cost me $2 paking or you can go in Samba and check out the dancer chicks and have a drink and a validation or hit Captain Kids. Sunday cost me $6 for 3-4 hours with no validation, it was totally worth it just seeing all the Bonito below the short pier.
