spotfin croakers

I was taught a tidbit about catching big spotfin (2~5 lbs range) last night so I thought I would share it with you guys. Anyway, apparently during the day and late afternoon, the big spotfin hang around the pier pilings. They are not big biters at these times but you might be able to get one if you are patient. Anyways the guys who gave me the tips had 3 big spotfin as well a a few sargo in his bucket so it must work. Good luck to you all in trying to catch this hard fighting and elusive fish.
