Sat gude trip t/o-ham-and-eggs THE ROD THAT GOT NO LOVE

jason contaced me during the week he said he was stripey in the freezer and he needed some fish for the wife,so it was kill the stripey trip. jason met up at the dock as we were getting ready to roll out the lake the fnn stripey fleet arrived we talked to mamachippy and crew shock and jessie fishingone ron and his crew some lurkers giving me a bad time ,the were alot of boats looking for you know who. we worked the channel for a couple ,didnt see any of the same thing from the day before,so we worked are way out of the channel and into the open water.changed a couple colors on the rigs till we found what they wanted,the stripers were up and down in the water colume acting very strange but the full pool conditions have the bite a funny mode .as we picked away at the schoolies me and jason started noticing something of the two rods this one rod wasnt getting any action the other rod was redhot and it kept happening ,so as the day went on we switched sites of the boat it didnt matter we switched rigs ,lures it didnt matter , its kinda of funny when you run the exact two setups out in open water and the only hit the one ,it was totally different from the day before, so we started laughing and calling it the ROD THAT GOT NO LOVE jason even tried the wingnut trick of giving it some buhdda belly rub but nothing worked some we just kept killing till it was time to head in , thankyou jason for going out again i hope the boss was happy with the fresh fish,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,up in the parking lot waiting for me was feelthesteel he was coming back from a av-duct slaying session he was showing off his pigs he killed up there it was great seeing you gary,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,T/O,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hey T/O,

Nice job putting jason on fish.

We had one rod catch all the troll fish too, my flimsy trolling rod got hit but the one fish that hooked up on it got off before we got to see the fish.

I told you we were going to try bait n wait, we did. The first spot had lots and lots of fish but we only had one quick tap on 6 rods in an hour. Out by the buoy we got a couple quick hits but didn't hook up. Then we moved over by the island and found some micro-dinks willing to play, even they were slow and picky. So long story short. I like your pics better than mine.

I couldn't believe how well that stuff works Bob / Art. Bob managed to get a bite after he rubbed one of the rods but unfortunately it was the rod that just had no love that day. Next time I'm going to ask Bob to rub harder.

Bob- we stewed, sashimied, fried, and we passed out... what a great striper dinner we had! Thanks for a great a trip. As usual, I learned a lot about the lake, had some great laughs, and caught some damn good fish.

TRY SOME FRIED STRIPER FOR BREAKFAST ! …DA’ BOMB !

Eat it with eggs over easy or over medium and dip a forkful of the striper into the yoke of the eggs….

Damn good !
