Fly Tying Benches and Rod Racks

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that my brother-in-law is considering starting a new business and is making rod racks and fly tying benches. He has several models that he makes but can do custom work as well. I wanted to see what the interest level would be for a product such as these. I am attaching pictures of my tying bench (station) and some rod racks that he built for my garage ceiling. They work and look great !!! If there is any interest in these products, please let me know as we are testing the market for demand.

yup. i know i could sure use a rod rack it would be sweet to mount them on the walls of my bed room.

just food for thought maybe he would find it profitable to make tackle storage compartments and such you know things that look like cabinet but are made to store tackle.

He actually is a cabinet maker. That is how this all started. He came for the holidays and made me some killer cabinets for my garage. Then he made the Fly tying station and rod racks. The bitchen thing about it is he can make anything to your specification. If you need a certain length rod rack for your wall or ceiling, just let him know and he builds most everything to suit you.. He can build it out of any wood also..birch oak pine etc.. Just depends on what you want to spend. His pricing is the lowest around also !!!

Hey Goat...
These racks can be built to any dimension really. He has some already completed in Pine for $30.00 per rack. They are 46" long and can hold 13 freshwater rods with reels attached ( as seen in the pics above). He also has a "Saltwater" rack that holds 9 rods with reels. It can accomodate the larger rod butts and larger reels commonly found with Saltwater gear. Remember though he can make anything really, if you need a standing rack for your room/garage or one to mount to your wall, it really doesn't matter !!!

XJdesertfox: No he is not the same guy. He is a cabinet maker by trade but has mad wood working skills and make anything !!! Let me know if you are interested in a rack of any kind..

The options are endless> Are you advanced or beginning to tie flies?? Just let me know how much you can spend and he will make one for you..
