Arrived saturday at ten in the morning to see it real windy,Decided to launch any way.Went and baited down with only chartruse powr bait and 16 inch leader in 9 foot of water.Limted in less than a hour. Saw catmando and one leg fishing also. There were two guys on shore hootin when i caught my fish and they were getting skunked. I pulled up to them and said get in. They were surprised, i anchored and set them up with trebles and power bait. They caught four nice fish each.Turned out they did not know each other but live a half a mile apart. Both first time at the vine and now said said their hooked.Their going to bring their friends and family. Nice to see people catch fish, By the way the wind had died down. NEXT DAY I ARRIVED EARLY AT 8.30 and found geardy bass and nohoart.Itolld them follow me and went to the spot from yesterday. Anchored down. NOho hooked up right away with geordy hookin up next. It was nice seong them reelin trout with there high dollar rods and reels.Great bendo and these fish fought hard in cold water.We laughed a lot and had a great time,Pontoon couldnt make it ihe is on call at work the whole month.Dont worry tery will fish like heck next month.Great weather and the water has cleared up.I did not bring any lures or trolling rods because i wanted to kick back.

Thanks for the heads-up Trolly, you saved my day! It seems my spots are all on the "wrong" side of good anchorage when the wind blows. I kept getting blown off and had resorted to drifting worms on the wind (one good whack, didn't set). I should have fished Sunday, instead (or is that "too")!

We saw you solo that a.m, man that wind was nasty at times it was the opposite for us zero on bait and wait and drifting, but got fish on the troll. Hopefully well see you and Terry at DV this year, later.
