Had to go up to the local mountains to see the damaged from the rains... When i arrive to the Ranger Station all i saw were BIG BIG HEAVY EQUIPMENT ...guess they were moving rocks around near the bridge...so i headed up to the my fav spot .... no trees ...no shade... BOULDER HEAVEN.... waters are clear and moving quickly but perfect conditions...sunny and about 75 degrees... Tied on small #14 parachute with high vis white .... started to hit the pools and after about 30 minutes finally hooked in small trout .... this is awesome ... a fish here when just weeks ago this area was roaring rapids. well after 2 more hours and walking all the way down to the garbage collection center no more hook ups ....
sorry for pic quality but was with my cell phone
approx 6 " taken on 2wt 6ft using 7x tippet
fish was cleanly released
