Did another one of those winter twilight fishing / lobster trips. I had my regular deckhand Dennis along with me and my good friend James. I wanted to add some more lobster gps coordinates to our arsenal. So instead of heading to our usual spots, we had some predetermined topo locations that I wanted to try out. This was more of a exploratory trip than anything else. We got lucky once again and found the big lobsters on spot#1. We were rewarded with full pots on spot #2 and the final spot #3 was also loaded with the bigger bugs. We fished in between setting the pots and had a nice steady pick on the sand bass, sculpin, and brown rockfish. Nothing wide open like the last trip. All in all a very successful exploratory trip. LBC is definitely where the lobsters are partying. Pictures of the bummed lobsters when I raided their party:

It is a good sign when your first party goer is a big one.

This is the size we were getting with the party pooper himself. Stacked the pots and reset them on test spot #2 and did some fishing.

Here is Dennis with one of the many nice scullys we caught. Dennis and James got to take home a limit of these delicious scorpion fish.

A nicer grade chocolate bass. Rockfishes was released with the sand bass. I dont like taking bass on my boat. But If you're a guest on my boat, you are more than welcome to keep some bass for table fare. I dont hug trees.

Love it when you pull the net up and there is all this splashing around. It is music to my ears.

Thats all I want to show you. I was cold, tired, and sleepy. I also had a massive headache which made me kind of seasick. I almost threw up at the end. I also got a parking ticket. It was totally worth it. I had a blast and I want to do it again. Hope you guys enjoy the read. See you all next time.
