I decided to take a day off work and head to corona with my older brother and my dad to see i we could put a dent on the fish population at corona. we arrived at the lake around 4am and where about the 8th car in line. the staff opened the gates around 5:40-5:45 or so. we had the lines in the water by about 6:15. at about 6:35 my dad had a hit on his line, he set the hook and landed a nice 3 pound trout. the bite was steady throughout the day. the bait of the day was chartreuse power bait using a leader about 10-12 inches.. we tried different colors but all fish where caught on chartreuse. we had a great day at the lake and finished of the day with a total of 12 fish. thanks for reading.

Nice report! How's the water clarity? Is it getting better yet?

the water clarity is not great but it has begun to clear up and should be getting better by the day.

yeah, that was a good area for me last year, ive seem to have better luck by the inlet and boat dock area this year. But its nice to see that area producing again, Thanks for the great report.

Glad to see the bite at Corona Lake is turning on. The chartreuse powerbait has been a good bait to use there to find biting fish. You guys did good. Congrats!
