favorite hardbait in the surf

I have heard a lot of you guys talking about LC's. Just wondering what your favorite hardbait is and if there are any colors that work better than others?

I dont have the money for LC's but Diawa works wonders for me. Go to color would be the sardine, but when thats not working ill switch to some xps in random colors..whatever works
