my nane is vince moved to sfv 6 years ago from chicago fished and hunted all my life i am 52 years old for the last few years i fish piru lake most of the time i like to panfish i have had good luck only in the spring can anyone help me out i can pay a fwe bucks i rent boats i have maps and fish finder

I too have only been on FNN for a few weeks and so far everyone has been great. I am out in the Inland Empire. I hear Perris has great gill and redear. Just got a boat I will keep you posted.

Welcome Vince! I've been in Cali all of my life and grew up fishing at Piru. My late father was from Champaign, IL and Piru was his favorite place.

Just wondering if you miss the winters in Chicago? I know my pops never did. lol

I don't usually panfish but I've done well up there trolling for trout. Piru didn't get listed for trout plants but there should be holdovers.

Our pan fish here is striper. You might want to give them a try.
