Went to Bako sat night with Hiro…

Had an all nighter planned….

Went kinda far out north to 3 spots for nothing….

Another 4 spots…nothing..

Water is BAD…..worse I’ve seen it in a long time..

Chocolate soup !

The fish are having a rough time targeting in the soup without daylight…

Fished on….

Morning came….

HookUp ~

I was on a real nice quality unit but it shook off rather quickly (Dayam !)

About 10 minutes later…..

Hiro is ON !

I watched my fatigued buddy drive & set the hook like a troper……..tuna drug him up the long slope of the cement

AND

IT’S GONNA’ DIE !
(Sorry no pic….Hiro got camera shy !)

Went to another 2 spots….

I discussed the patterning with Hiro and the why’s and if’s re” the conditions…

Went and re-tapped a zone I had hit 20 minutes earlier…

SLAMMED !

HooKup ~

Bendo !

SUPER Duct death roll..

Man..thsi striper was rolling on top twisting me all up in the line…..

It was all wrapped round the nose and the feesh was Pisssssed’

I battled on…….looked good but as I tuna dragged it up the cement….

It started unspinning around it’s snout as I dragged..

I had only hoped the during the spinning process the hook doesn’t come out when my line straightens out direct to the lure…

I cringed and dragged….didn’t want to lost this SUPER HARD EARNED Feeesh !

I cleared the edge of the duct cement and victory was mine !

Anutha’ quality Unit !

Saweeet…..

And it’s Ceviche’ tonight !

REAL TOUGH out there…that water clarity has clearly affected things and I will be looking forward to clearer conditions in upcoming days but I’m afraid it may take a bit to get back to the level where a healthy bite can develop..

Who’s to say…we’ll wait it out and see, as long as no more storms hit we may see thing get better within a week 1 ½ weeks ….I hope !

Till next time !
