Lagoon Sunday 1/9

Hey guys, new member here, thought I'd start off with a report. Fished the lagoon today with my buddy Brett, started around 10:30 and we were greeted with overcast, cold and calm conditions. I was fishing from my yak and Brett was in a float tube. The bite was slow but we managed to land 5 on the dropshot. I also tried fishing a jig but the bass weren't havin it. Talked to some boaters who weren't settin the lagoon on fire either.

All in all, a good day and only our second attempt at fishing the lagoon. Hopefully we'll get out there next weekend as well.

Hey BluesmanSR, good work from the yak. I was aboard the blue/white Champion that saw you boat two of your bass in the afternoon. Both my partner and I blanked Sunday. We worked deep meter marks with ice jigs, dropshot, darthead, mini tubes even threw some BBZ and Hudds. We've had better days at the Goon. Congrats.
