I fished with Ron and Doug this afternoon, we all had things to do in the morning.

We stopped a Gallion's Market to get some great sandwiches and some really nice fresh dead sardines. Don't worry! we ate them separately.

We finally got out there at about 11:30 and anchored up in about 150 ft.

It didn't take long for Doug to hook up on a drag puller.

We weighed this one later in the day. It was 8 1/2 lb.

Ron was next to put a fish in the boat.

This one was the right kind.

We had pretty good action for a while. We were getting a mix of striper and catfish.

Here I am with a schoolie.

We pulled up stakes and came in at 3:45 so Doug could go out to dinner. I don't know if it was a fish dinner.

We gave the big cat away and kept 6 nice, schoolie striper.

Our total catch was about 10 striper and 5 cats.

No doubt! I thought it was all air and estimated his weight at 7 lb but I guess it wasn't all air.:Surprised:

We got it out to pry that catfish's mouth open. Then just kept playing with it. It's overkill on the schoolies unless there are lots of them. I hope they start biting like that again soon.
