Someone just called me and asked me to ask others
on this site these questions.

Which reel cast better throwing 1/4 to 1/8 oz lead heads ?
a Daiwa Zillion Coastal (which he has already) .
An Abu Garcia" STS" Revo Inshore, or a Abu- Garcia revo inshore,
for jetties and all inshore surf fishing.I think he has the option of getting
others or switching out the Zillion ? Guess he is looking for an experienced
opion?

The Zillion is an amazing reel for light weight lures...
IM a Daiwa fan myself and they 'were' top of the line IMHO...

BUT!!!
I have now acquired 2 Inshore's and a Toro 60 by Abu...
What I have seen is the Revo series (all the way up to Toro 60) are all pretty much identical in the construction & materials used.
The Inshore is reported to have more Salt resistant bearings for Salt use... (I see no diff yet?).
The inshore is amazing !!!
Casts like a dream and handles light stuff very, very well..
Hard call, but at this moment I would go with the Abu Inshore!!!!???

Nessie Hunter; He called last night and we went through the specs.
of diff. reels and he is leaning towards the STX.He would have gotten
the "Cronarch" but is has Magnesium Aluminum as a base metal, which will
tend to rust if the coating is dinged!!! IMO the Shimano Core is the way to go
if you can afford 379.00 :Rolls Eyes::LOL::LOL:
