Limits for surf perch?

What are the size and/or catch limits for the surf perch. Im going to hit up Newport this weekend for the first time in about 3 years.

You might want to read the regulations. Otherwise, just keep anything you want.

As with any species of fish don't go overkill on your take, only take what you need. Perhaps 3-5 perch should be all you need. As for limits I think it may be 10, but I'm not sure on that.

Oh yeah for sure, Im not looking to go bag a limit or anything, I was just curious. I was just planning on taking a couple nice hogs home.

Q. How many fish total can I have in my bag and possession limit?

A. The general bag and possession limit of Section 27.60 states that no more than 20 finfish in combination of all species with not more than 10 of any one species, may be taken or possessed by any one person. Within this general bag limit of 20 fish with not more than 10 of any one species, special sublimits apply to many species. There are also many species that have no bag or possession limit.
