As the title says "The Big boys are in the lake"! The final tank on the truck today was in one word "EPIC!!!. Fish after fish poured outta the tank that eclipsed the 10+lb mark with plenty of fish in that 15-20lb+ mark. I for sure saw one fish that was pushing that 23-25lb mark. These fish where not just beasts they where also beautiful! Here are the pictures from today.

Only a 14lb Rainbow that was plucked to take some pictures of. This was one of the smaller sized fish in the tank.

Remeber to refill your reels with fresh line guys because these fish are line rippers. Please bring all your trophy trout up to the Pro Shop for pictures, that we can put them on here, our facebook, and our website.

I seen many of the big ones heading toward the middle of the lake (on the surface) shortly after stocking. They were trying to get the trailer out yesterday too. The worm issue has been resolved thanks to Nick. The water is almost done going over the spill way. Don't race across the lake if you like your prop, there's still much large debris in the water. Fish are biting more now but the water is still dirty.

Can somebody compare SHORE FISHING between Corona and Irvine? I have been going to Corona to shore fish every Tuesday for the past few months. Been to Irvine once on a boat. I have been having bad luck lately at Corona and want to try shore fishing at Irvine? Can anybody compare the two?

The vine is very limited on shore space (at this time) much like Corona.
There is about ten times (okay, 20x) the water in the Vine, thus the fishin' is a little tougher.
Still I say it's the Vine, hands down, but that's just me.

I fished most of this lake. You can fish Trout Island, the flats, woodies cove, and the very front.I think there's plenty
of shore room to fish......if u rent a boat...fish the west shore.dont move around to much.Garlic powerbait works good.
Or worms dipped in Bite on garlic oil

Irvine is the best! The fishing, the Employees, and the beautiful scenery. I haven't been in a while, but I always fish the shore and most of the time we catch fish.
I did hear the water is up. Good Luck! Cindy
