In the upcoming months i will go fly fishing on the kern river near the kern valley airport just north of lake isabella. just want to get some tackle tips and advice so i have an idea wat im up against thanks!

i heard you cant drive back through the riverbed anymore. some stupid endangered something or another.

Hey neighbor. I fish Isabella for the bass and crappie and have allways wanted to fish the river. Its hard not to pull over at every turnout to check out the river. I haven't been up past the lake on the river yet but would love to get in some fly fishing for the trout or the smallies in the lower section. When you decide to roll up there, let me know and if I'm free we can go slay some trout.
