In the duct I primarily fish lures. Large Rattle trap types and flukes. My few fish have been on perch colored rattletraps. I like the fluke but it hasent happened yet. I have experimented with putting rattles in the fluke. Too many skunks to even talk about. 2011 will be better.

time and place for everything...and not everyone is suited to fish lures...

I've fished bait about 6 times in the duct, caught fish maybe 2-3 times out of those 6 times...

I usually stick to lures.....99.9 % of the time

i get skunked more baiting and waiting then i do lures.. trout is 50/50 though... i think it all depends on what ur fishing for and what lake your @ to be honest

I personally do lures for the stripers and bait if I want to target catfish. I would say depends where you are at the duct too. In the AV I hardly ever see anyone catch stripers on bait. The few times I have been to Bako I have seen people catch stripers on bait all but one time and multiple people at that at the same spot. I really think there are just more fish there. They do average much smaller than in the AV. They definitely hit the lures in Bako too but I'm just saying that as far as bait that's where I have seen people nail them on it too. I use lures exclusively there too and that's what works for me.
