A Good Start for the New Year!

I fished the first with Bong.

We got to the lake at about 10:15.

I tried a new spot that I noticed yesterday as we blew past it in the wind. Fishing was good from the start. It was warm and sunny. So warm that I had to peel down to just one sweatshirt to keep from overheating.

After a while a cold wind blew down on us and I started replacing layers one at a time.

We picked up a some nice Channel Cats and some Yellow Cats then the Striper started to cooperate.

We headed in at 2:30. We're saving ourselves for the rest of the year. :LOL:

Thanks guys,

That food was leftover tempura striper, shrimp and veggies, from New Years Eve, reheated in the oven. It was very good.

I'll eat fish cold instead of using a microwave. "eww"
