I fished on the 31st with koifish and fishbones.

We headed out first thing in gray light.

The illusive fishbones!

It didn't take long for us to start putting fish in the boat.

Here's koifish with a nice striper.

The Bako Boys came and visited with us for a while. Nice seeing you guys out there, we enjoyed the company.

I was dehooking a striper at one point when its stomach blew out and spit half digested shad all over the front of my jacket. Fishbones laughed while the shad slid down the front of my jacket and I stammered "I don't believe he puked on me."

Here's a fish hold shot later in the day. You can see cats on the bottom if you look close.

We said goodbye to the Bako Boys and they went back on the troll.

Again, Ron it was great seeing you guys face to face and congrats on the slay.

TB and I came to the conclusion you guys got something figured out and know what the heck your doing! Fishermen you fellas are

All the BS talk between 6 hardcore fishermen is always fun.

Can't wait to fish with you boys again.

That fish sticking his toungue out at fishbones was like 144 ft {75 psi} to 0 in like 5 seconds. Then the tuna sling by fishbones just added insult to injury to that stripey

I forgot about that tuna sling. On 6 lb leader no less.

A couple of those we released were aquarium sized. We got some nice channel cats on the first.

Happy New Year Capt'n, When are you coming out?

Great job out there guys! Rockfishing for striper? LOL.

Thanks Hai,

Striper are called rockfish on the East Coast.

16 oz. sinkers might help avoid some of the tangles.

I think we can use 3 hooks per pole in fresh water. I use 1 most of the time though.
