Lake Fork baby shad lures

Has anyone ever used any of these before? If so, how did you like them? Also, how do you guys fish these type of lures? Do you jig them or just do a straight retrieve? Oh, and I am fishing for trout if that matters.

I received a few packs of these for Christmas and wanted to see what others thought.

i don't know about trout....but i've caught plenty of bass of them. just jerking them around cover.

hey Danny, thanks for the reply. I am gonna give them a try on wed. Gonna do some night fishing, I got the Neclear Chicken and crystal ice colors. Any colors you find that work well?

I have a couple of packs a friend gave me. Pink and white and grey and white. I caught 1 bow on the pink one. The bite was wide open at the time. I rigged it on a 1 /32 oz jig head. I like the action they have, I just wish they were a little smaller. Also they smell like garlic so they are obviously scented. Not my goto for trout fishing but its got potential.
