My only day off this week, so time to go fishing. All the rain we had made me antsy to go fishing. Monkey is on vacation so we were off.

We got to the lake around 10 am... fishing was great got our limits quick and everyone was also catching them.

Monkey caught his PB trout, so I was excited about that for him.

thats one hell of a Christmas present right there...gorgeous colors with a hooked jaw to boot...way to get the young one on some fish....i got a nephew nicknamed "monkey" too...lol...

The one I lost was a heart breaker for sure. I'm not even sure if I had enough line, LOL. She was headed straight across the lake, breaking surface about every 10 feet. Did that three times and...gone. First bite of the day, 10 minutes after we got there. Still ended up with a limit and a few missed fish.
