12/14 "Funyun" Trout fishiing with Magic Mitz

So I was off this day, and received a phone call from the Magic Man himself...and what did he want to do? TROLLING-101 class with me!
He’s one of the OG’s of bait fishing and more at the Vine for Cats, Trout, and Crappie…for those who don’t know, and he also helps the Vine parking lines in the morning…

Well to make a long story short- Mitz is now hooked on trolling. I met him in the am at the Vine tackle to grab some drinks and some snacks/food. We then launched and started the troll. Within the first 10 minutes I get a hookup- he looked at me and said “is that a fish?” I laughed hahahaha…yes the troll can go on just like that (as with baitfishing at the Vine) nice 2.5lbr- Throughout the day we caught fish, biggest ended up being 5lbs, and we had lost a larger one off the faulty stringer…ah well gettem nextime! :Wink:

We ended the short day with 1 limit and almost a half- had to leave early to do some work-

A nice 2.5lbr this one had broken someone off- had some line/hook in his lip- i saved him...to the stringer!

Thanks TS, it was a goood day for trolling for sure-! Had one Riiip my drags halfway out to the middle of the lake, only to take my Daiwa SC with it, couldn't turn it with 8lb test...Mitz said "heyyyy, what is that a sharrk?..." LOL

Nice job again! It was a good day, Mitz saw some nice bend on the Daiwa Rods, and heard my drags scream on one of the bigger trout runs...
