I've been looking for 2lb flurorcarbon line, but haven't been able to locate any. I would prefer a bulk spool - at least 1000 yds.

Floroclear is only fluorocarbon coated.

I see the BPS has it for that price, also. Apparently, they don't stock it, since it's shipped directly from the manufacturer (P-Line).

honestly i dont care for p-line i had them spool me up with that on a reel i bought at bps and after my first fishing trip with it i took it all off and put on vanish. the p-line was way to stretchy

You know why they call it Vanish?
Because when you set the hook, the fish vanishes with ur bait.
Try 100% if you want to fish Berkley lines. Dunno if it comes in 2 lb test though.

I use P-Line 2lb 100% Fluro (Not the Flurocoated stuff). It comes in a mini spool (clear plastic, squared shaped) but I believe vortec cruiser wanted bulk, and I don’t know if they sell it as such.

save your money .if you buy a bulk spool of floro,chances are it will go bad before using it all.just spool up with 2lb floro clear,and use the smaller spool of.,, floro for a leader (8ft)..use a surgens knot with 3 turns , it will not break, and go thru the guides smoothly..if the purpose is feel, try 1lb. dia.6lb rated crystal fire line awsume feel, last for ever and cast a mile.same surgens knot to attach 8ft 2lb floro leader. dark shadow is right about vanish.worst knot strenth on the planet..good luck .....mike the pmb...

It was suggested to me to try what I think you're doing. Spool up with a good line (maybe regular P-line or Maxima Green) most of the way ... and then using triple surgeon's ... tie on some of the really good fluorocarbon. T
he person I talked to ... suggested I put on a bunch ... maybe 50 yards. I would save repeatedly tying on leaders ... wouldn't it?
Normally I have been tying straight line through to the hook ... no swivel ... just one of those red/white Carolina Keepers (nice to easily adjust the leader length)
What do you think???

billy 8ft. floro leader is all that is needed.i use it for all my drop shotting bass,trout pan fish .as any one who knows me, im a braided line freak for all my spinning,baitcasting except my fly fishing which now at the pudd is 95% of my fishing.. i have to say sorry for side tracking this threads orginal question ...sorry...mike the pmb...

yes its is the best line to line knot ive ever come across . i learned it .from an very old fly fishing guro.it owns over a blood knot.i even use it as a stopper for carolina rigs....

yeah...I use that also...never had any problems with it.....then again...I only use the 4 lb and 8 lb...I have never used the 2 lb...

yeah i agree with that.....you dont need to spool your entire reel with fluoro, i.m.o. Just use a small topshot, thats all you need.....
