Thought I'd try the Vine on a Friday. As suspected, it was really crowded. Now I remember why I only fish weekdays. I managed 2 fat rainbows on crawlers in the morning. Trolling was nearly impossible and every yahoo on the lake seemed to want to cross directly behind me. I did manage to pick up 2 somehow.
The stocking truck showed up about 1 on the ramp and the weekend warriors attacked.
I listened to a gang of cholos to the left of the ramp (at the mouth of the cove), shout (in spainglish) at all the boats that desended like flies on the area. I was once again thrilled to see Hubert out trying to bust up the just stocked schoolies with his trusty boat. :Guns:
I thought the extra hour might be good but it didn't seeme to help much with all the hordes hitting the water.
People were actually lined up in the lot to fish the next day? :Group Hug:
I'll wait for the weekdays b4 attempting this again......
