BBL DEC 9th

Got up late & wasnt gonna go but talked myself into going & getting the line wet.Get to the lake about 715 am on the north east shore of the lake.Water looks beautiful & there was a slight breeze that picked up a bit b-4 i left.Weather is clear & warm so its a good weekend to come up & get some fish.

I got 4 fish in about a hour or so,1st was on a crawler under a slip bobber set at about 10-12 ft just a small one a breakfast fish if ya will.
2nd one came about 10 min later on PB with a 20" leader & was same size as the 1st.
3rd was on a inflated crawler on 18" of leader and was a great fighting fish,took my about 5 min. to convince this fish it was food.I get it landed & I cant remove the lil 20 treble hook from its jaw it had fought so hard.He had pulled about 30 yards of line on his 1st run.
4th came about 20 min. after that 3rd & was on PB & hit hard.I thought it was gonna pull my pole out my bucket it hit so hard.Once in I decided I was hungry so just packed it up & went home.

Thanks folks & I am heading back out right now if u get a chance to fish up here mid week snatch it up.I think there was a total of 5-6 people fishing my area thats it.

Good Luck....Let us know how you do. We are going to try and nail down one of those bruiser rainbows this weekend at a different lake. Feel like a traitor! .Gotta get it out of my system though.

I caught 2 small ones both about a pound 1 on NC & 1 on PB both where C&R.....Wind picked up & I was gone,lol.I hope u get a couple monsters I will be back at the lake in the morning with my brother.Weather is great up here !

But that spot has been a hot spot for many people for many years, i have been fishing it since i was 14 and im now 35. When ever the weather is nice like it was last weekend your gonna see a influx of people of that stretch of shoreline. I actually almost headed up there this weekend after checking the weather.

Dont get discouraged and keep the reports coming...

u shud of I was killing em sat & sun,I doubt i'll stop meet some cool folks.I was kinda joking but damn thee was a bunch people there lol.I also rarely go on the weekends & may just go back to that.

Nice looking full tails... i would have been soaking bait on that shorline if my little one hadnt gotten sick. I lived in sugar loaf and loved having that time to fish the lake hard, its your reports and others on this board which reafirms the common knowledge that BB is one great trout fishery!
