Hit Bako with my buddy Mikey….
Fished hard (as usual)…..
1st spot
NO CURRENT ! : ( (Dayam !)
I got hooked up but the feesh broke the barb right of the hook on my LC and took it with ‘em……
Right at the curvature of the shank !
Wump wump wump wahhhhhhhhhh! (wa’ wa’ wa’ wa’ !)
Dayam…would have been a nice skunk shaka’ !
I guess he’s still feelin’ some steel this morning even !
Nothing more…….for 2 more spots !
Many more casts …………..now slight current…
Then……fishing the KPN deep….the feel the steel pop’ n’ stop ! : )

This one was real heavy..
Real hard head shakes……..
BENDO !
Then….his head shakes did what they were meant to do….
He shook off !
That was one of the nicer units I’ve ever tied into out there…..but now it’s nothing but anutha’ feesh story !

Off to a few more spots for nothing…then more….nothing..
Then another stop…
Mickey gets:
BENDO !
Then Mikey gets worked as well !
The fish shakes off ! (WTF ?)

Getting real late…
2 more quick stops and we gotta hit it…
This time I’m workin’ the KPN higher in the water column….
Wham !
CRUSHED IT !
And I drove on ‘em with my swimbait rod with a vengeance not rivaled by Bill Dance or any other !

I battled this long sought out feesh in the current…..glad my drag iz set right ! as it gives..
Then……… tuna slid ‘em up the long cement arcing shoreline of the duct..
PLEASE don’t come off….PLEASE !
And…..
he is clear of the slope…of the cement…on dirt
He iz in my HAND !
He is Gonna be Ceviche’ TONIGHT !
Not extremely long….but a really footballed out unit…..good n’ solid !

It’s late….we gotta go….I still stopped at 1 more stop to give Mikey a chance at redemption..
I didn’t even fish….hopin’ he would make some lemonade out of the lemons that were given us…

So we headed home….vowing to reap “Murder Death Kill” on the surviving parties from that night !....
