Wussup, folks!
Well, my cousin and I hit up SFD today to see if by chance we caught the stock truck this mornin, since the lake was scheduled for stocking this week. While waitin, I decided to chuck my lucky crankbait at SFD, and my efforts were rewarded with a dink Bass...
Then, around 10:00, the truck arrived and dumped 700 pounds of nice lookin trout into the lake. My cousin and I started chuckin mini jigs with worm trailers. The fish were disoriented for about an hour after being put into the lake, but then they went on a feeding frenzy... We ended up takin home 3 fish each. The fish were typical of the one my cousin is holding in the pic... Fish were bein caught by folks fishin the hardware and bait...
We saw only one cormorant, which was a mriacle IMO, and unfortunately we saw no type of law enforcement to make sure everyone was legal...
I didnt see any big Bass rolling on the Trout, but I think Im headin back tomorow with my swimbaits to see if there are any hogs out there lurking!!!
