What's up FNN,
Thought I'd post up a quick report on the Team 57 event and my afternoon/evening session from the next day.
Team 57 Event:
What can I say, it's always great to fish with team 57. While the fishing for me and those who were on the shore close by was not wide open (In fact it was down right slow) we still had a great time. I had a wedding to go to in the afternoon, so I had to split at 12:00 PM, but not before grabbing a quick bite. I have to say SARL management always rolls out the red carpet for Team 57, and it is greatly appreciated by this angler.
Had a nice talk with Craig from the SARL team. We talked quite a bit about the legislation that is threatening to keep our local private lakes from stocking any fish. I highly encourage each of you to visit the following website, read the information and take action to save recreational fishing in California!

I ended up with only one fish, but I knew that was due to the non prime shore spot that I was able to get in the morning rush. A Huge Thanks to Donna "Nacho Fish" for organizing the event!

Next Day:
Got off work early on Monday and headed out to SARL for the mid day special. Didn't get to the lake until 2:00, but I had a feeling that I was going to score some fish. Fished the pump house for 30 minutes for nada. Headed over to the store and got some crawlers, then headed to Chris's pond.
Got my lines in the water and had 2 fish on in less than 5 minutes. Get them on the stringer and put my lines back out. Got hit again, and brought in a 3rd fish.
It was pretty wide open until the sun went down. Managed one more right as the sunlight was disappearing. Then the bite slowed down, but didn't stop all together. Waited for about another hour and got another fish, then 5 minutes later got number 6. Had to wait for antoher 30 minutes to pick up my final fish for the night. Headed home at 8:00 with a 7 fish limit, most of which came on night crawlers. Got my revenge for the slow day on Sunday!
