Had the day off and received a phone call that the guys wanted to go at it again at the Vine...I told them I had the day off and was ready to take them out-
Got to the lake and it was somewhat cloudy- Knowing that the water temps were perfect from the last few times i went out, and also from trollys report (water temps) :Wink: We got in the water by 8am and started the troll- the water was calm, and a few other trollers were out. We got the first fish within the hr, and kept going solid througout the day.
Later we switched up and went to the bait/jig down...Rick was able to nail 2 fish on the techniques i showed, then Bob gets nailed with a nice RB- after an hour or so, i decided to put us on the troll again, to see if the other fishies were interested in playing too!...right Then Genesis lands his first Trout of the year...send the Video!
Rick gets nailed again, with a lure that i told him would do work/fine...another Rapala! This time he lands a nice 1-2lb steelhead- we continue on the run and then Bob gets nailed with a solid RB, about a 3-4lbr. Then the showers started, and the bit increased~
After I found more fish, Rick then sets out his lines as i was calling the #'s to set out...then WHAM- fish on! Ricks only 4th time trolling and he lands a nice Brown Trout~ Then on the reel in, Bob gets a SOLID rainbow, his PB of the year!
Before we started gettting wet, we decided to head in-since none of us had rain gear, and it started to come down more.
ended the day with a hatrick of trout- Rainbow, Steelhead and a Brown! Thanks for fishin~
