Decided to head out to hesperia today dad and I felt like having a little tourney between us.biggest fish wins.
got there at 6 :30 and I caught are first fish within five min.

another 30 min or so and dad hooks one.

btween 7 and 11 managed to get a couple more and he take the lead with an about 3 to 3 1/2#

But then the big boys come to play at around 11 i hook in to a huge one fights me around for about five min and dad nets it......

it was 28 inches long and 10.5 pounds!
a coulple of pics of this one then the line went back into the water......

30 min later another hookup its another big one this ones fighting harder ...
finally after almost ten min i get this one in the net...whoo!:Big Grin:

this one was shorter than the first it was 27 1/2 inches long , but it weighed more than the first at 11.2 pounds!:EyePop:

people at the the front store took this picture and are going to post it in the bait shop. yeah im going to be famous.hahaha

Overall we had a great day at hesperia, ended up with a total of nine fish including my two lunkers.finally got my first dd trout.

Nice fish,my friend caught a 11lb and 13lb last week Thursday.

yeah those fish fight hard i thought i was going to lose them i was only useing 2lb test.

Very NICE! It looks like you guys were fishing over by the inlet? What did you catch them on? I was there about a month ago and the water is so dirty and stained. Power Bait with Bite - On was the only thing that we caught on, I threw every jig/spoon/lure in the book with no luck....

the water was a little clearer, you just have to find those areas where they hold. i caught them both on nightcrawlers.lures were working pretty well though.

yeah we'll have to go out there again....during the day....no wind...LOL.
