Bbl dec 1st 3 hours nothing

I crossed stanfield & nothing but ice at 6 am heading to Juniper area.I get there & find a spot with no ice but get only one bite the whole time.Only had PB today so maybe they where hittin on crawlers. Heres a couple pics of the water.

Looking good.... My neighbor up there called me up a while ago and said he got a 4 and a 1/2 lber yesterday....So he says....I will verify this on Friday when I get up there. ha ha

I know i need to stay past 9 am but coffee sounds so good about 9 am,lol.Good Luck today & I may swing by the lake this afternoon b-4 Mrs heads off to the bowling barn.

We went out on Sat and caught quite a bit on powerbait this time. Not one touch on nightcrawlers. Nothing huge. Biggest one was a little over two pounds that my son caught. The rest were all about a pound and a half. The fish fought extremely hard. I thought he had a beast and was ready to break out the gaff.
Bowling barn? That place cost me an arm and a leg last month!

I'll be heading to big bear in of this year does the lake get frozen? The reason being I plan on bringing my kayak and if it does get frozen I'll just leave the kayak at home.

Awesome looking fish congrats on that one......Yes the lake freezes in many parts & I am not sure about a kayak in dec/jan/feb months.

GREAT looking fish. I bet that fish gave you a run. He looks cold and mean!
