bloody at Dam

Fished at AV duct this early morning around 5:30 am... da.... cold... freeze....Took me 15' to get used to the cold....tried 5 spots nothing..... called it a day around 9:30 am.

Still had 4 hours left to pick up my son. Stopped at Castaic for few hours. Again cold,,,windy. I was the only one fishing at the end dam. Bait bad anchovies from the tackle shop...then while talking to my friend the small rod was pulling to the water, ran to it jumped to the water got the rod back and here are the 5 lbs striper. left around 1:00 pm

That is the best feeling, being down for those hours and all of the sudden....baaam! reward for all the your patience. Man and in that cold weather..you are true to the game of fishing
