I know it's a bit early to be asking this but what, if any, fishing dreams would you like to come true in the new year ? For me it would to catch my first crappie, I love pan fishing but have never landed one.

id like to catch a new record breaker fer trout in so cal at corona or in a regional derby! :)

Go on an 1.5/2 day trip to mexican waters
Catch a Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, Legal Hali, Tuna, White sea bass, Calico Bass, A shark, A bat ray (The list keeps going on...)

2011:

Hope to teach my son something else about fishing, and watching him catch a PB of anything. For me would be to fish different places and participate in a Team57 event.

I'd like to catch carp as easily as the Carpinator seems to, and I'd like to catch a 30 pounder. My PB now is only 11.5 pounds on 4 pound triple X.

Beat a 4lb smallie, DD LMB, break the 3lb mark on a Golden Trout and the 5lb mark on a Brown.

I want to fish at least 5 lakes I've never fished before, 2 of which should be out of state.

Catch at least 2 new species - fresh or salt.

goals for the new year,to get my wife out there with me more often,not just pole in hand,i mean pullin up some lobster nets and all.teaching her how to tie knots,and bait her own hooks........also catch way more fish next year then i did this year....yeah booy!!!!

I spent less time on the water during 2010 than any other year I can remember because I had 2 total knee replacement surgeries this year. So now that I have 2 brand new knees my goal for 2011 is to spend more time on the water chasing bass.

As for me, my goal has been the same for the last three years since I've started surf fishing. :Neutral: To catch a Striper out of the Southern California surf. :Envious:

I had one goal last year to catch my first WSB, and it was accomplished. I also had two unexpected firsts: my first legal halibut in the harbor, and my first halibut on the iron (same fish).

For 2011, I have a couple goals: to try surf fishing for the first time, and to have a banner day of trout fishing on the artificials at Yucaipa (or elsewhere), which my friend has all the time, but I've yet to have when I go fishing there.

Land my triple hookup of double d's stripers,three d d's stripeys on one rig three lures three dds in the net i had several doubles of dds once the two of them hit the deck and the third leader was broke off so i had the triple but couldnt get it to the boat,,,,,,,,,,,
