I got to the lake about 630am & it was a bit chilly with a few spots of sheet ice.I tossed out PB & inflated crawlers on my 2 poles.Took about 10 min. before I landed the first & the biggest or close to it on PB.Set back up & tossed my line back out & with in a couple minutes got nailed again.While I am reeling in the 2nd fish I see my crawler poles line start to straighten out, but I was busy with a fish so let it be.After tossing back out the crawler pole starts in with the drag zinging out.Knew it was another nice fish so I took my time & got it on the shore.
I was going to show of my 3 nice fish when I noticed there was only 2 on the stringer.I questioned if I had caught 2 or 3 at this point so I pulled em out to see whats going on.I see the empty hook opened & the lip bent out.DAMN FISH BROKE OFF MY STRINGER.
I fished for about 2 1/2 hours before hunger sank in & the coffee was calling me back home.I ended up catching 11 & letting all but the big ones (minus Houdini) go.I had to keep the small one it took in the hook a lil too far in the gill.I hope you all have as great as luck as I did this fine day.Happy Black Friday
