Finished some home chores with the wife and she asked if I was fishing on my weekend! Well honey since it is already noon and there is only a few hours of daylight left in the day I would love to!
Loaded the gear and set off on the 75 mile adventure to my ol' stomping grounds. Arrived and gathered the gear and this is what I saw!
Was this high priced keel designed to withstand this pressure? Time to pay for a dredging of your little slice of heaven! :OMG!:

I was suprised to not see any of my swim baits hanging in the boats under hardware as many of Spotties have used thier prowlness to rake me off on that sturdy piece of metal as I could have easily retrieved them.
Started of throwing the usual swim bait for about 15 minutes and the felt the sudden urge to make a mother nature call! :Potty:
While dealing with my situation I decided that normal tactics were out the window and needed to change my routine to entice a bite in this situation.
I reluctantly chose a curly tail swim bait as I have never had any luck on them on any previous harbor trip! The sun was going down and I hit faster than I would normally work the shore to cover some ground quickly!
Finally a curly tail sucess on the drop shot!

and a YFC enjoyed it also!

As darkness approaches, I went with another new bait in the White Bait fish flavor drop shotted!

and the last before challenging the traffic for the return adventure to make it home before curfew!

Thankfully some little guys came out to play for my short session! This colder weather will get the grumpies into action soon!
Anybody know a good doctor as I spent 4 1/2 hours fighting traffic to spend 2 hours looking for a cure for my "Spotted Fever"
