Hi all. Would anyone happen to know if there is a mercury outboard repair shop located anywhere in Ventura County, California? Mine is a 2006 4 stroke, 15 hp Mercury outboard. I'm having trouble getting it to stay in idle, and I know I need to get it tuned up, but I just don't know where to start looking?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Darren, I dont in the Ventura area but Jim at Olympic boats in Canoga Park does. He is an authorized Merc mechanic and has always been straight up and fair with me. You will find his Labor charge is well below what other charge as well.
Good Luck.

I believe Pacific Marine in Ventura is an authorized Mercury/Mariner repair shop. I know you can go to Boaters World or West Marine in Oxnard and they will be able to point you in the right direction.
