I will be on the water by 8 after dropping off the kids. Jigs only for me, hopefully they are hungry for them,.....

I went on monday. there were dozens of good sized trout floating belly up in the big lake. Not sure whats going on there? might want to call and ask about before you waste your time and money like i did.

i went to prado on Saturday... it may have been a good time except for the damn boyscouts having no respect for the people fishing... i swear i will never ever go to a lake again if the boyscouts are suppose to be there... they canoed or rowed into my line 6 or 7 times... they would have water fights right on top of your bait and just could care less about the people fishing there. so in those regards there should still be plenty of trout at prado since i highly doubt anyone was able to catch any this weekend... so good luck to you guys who go to prado and let me know if the fishing has changed there

the problem with guasti is is that it is such a shallow lake and i think the water was to warm for them i noticed dead fish there earlier this year towards the end of trout season.. i was seeeing a lot of floaters and good size ones at that. so maybe give it a week or two for the water temp to cool down and then it should be on like donkey kong

I was planning on heading over there in awhile after I drop my Daughter off at school as I only live 5 mins away. After hearing all the reports about the floaters I think I will save my time and try again in a few weeks.
