View Full Version : West Shore?
I haven't been to the Vine for quite a while and was wondering how people are doing fishing from the west shore and how accessible it is; can you drive right to it or is the level of the lake high enough to where you have to park and hike back to it?

The only way to get there is by boat. There's a road up on top and you might be able to hike it down, way down. But I'm not sure how far you can drive down that road, may want to check with the lake.

as far as I know, you can't drive down but you can hike down it.

You can def park and hike it over to the West Shore right now. Fishing has been on fire all over the lake since opening day. GL out there! Please post a report/results...

Wasn't on fire Monday. I didn't see hardly anyone catch a fish the WHOLE day.
I didn't even get a bite until about 2:45 pm. Got a 5 pounder on the troll.
I suspect the blazing sun may have had something to do with it.

I did well trolling crankbaits up and down the west shore yesterday, hottest action down by the dam.
There were a solid number of people shorefishing there as well but I'm not sure how they got there.
