yea man i know they wouldn't let people hunt black bear if they were endangered but im not sure how to feel about those pics. im not offended in any way and i commend your hunting skills. i guess im just being hypocritical cuz if that was a 12 point buck i would think it was the coolest thing ever. but on the other hand if you eating your kill then the animal was not wasted and that is good.

You too missed the jist of the joke. I quess some on this site just don't have a since of humor. Oh just to let you know, I see alot of pictures in this section not related to fishing. Please respond to them in the future as well. If hunting is not your cup of tea, well your missing a great experience. If you think I am not a fisherman you may want to check my many post on this site.

Also, I see alot of pictures of dead fish on this site, if killing is your issue.

Cool experience. You know any time you kill anything fuzzy and post pics other than on a hunting site, you'll get a few disapprovals. There are so many diverse outlooks here. I, myself don't have an issue one way or another. I like some non fishing related stuff. It gives us a chance to get to know our FNN family in more ways. Congrats on your bag.

To bad you are being harassed! You paid the State to have the opportunity for a chance to be successful. No Guarantee for sucess except for you putting some hard work into it to be successful!

I am sure the same haters would be happy to call the local authorities when the same Bear was in their backyard in the city due to lost habitat, over population, competition for territory, and lack of food! The state would then spend money to hire a professional to take it versus some income!

Unlike deer season, Bear season ends when a set quota is met for a sustainable population and it is season over!

wow people on here are a bunch of little babys.....its an animal no different then a damn cow..he shot it he ate it.so whats wrong with that?? i dont see anything bad about it...f u dont like the pics dont bother posting and raining on someones parade..
and fishing is about killing beleive it or not..sure u catch and release but the idea behing fishing is getting meat for some food...

I'm almost thinking that posting MORE BIG BEAR Pics, and saying, "If some of you did not get the jist of the post it was a joke a play on words" was an attempt to rattle some cages and get a rise. I know I looked to see some Big Bear Lake stories and photos. Pretty much wasn't what I expected. I get hunting....especially if you eat the meat. This looked more like bragging to me.

You too are a funny guy. If I ment it to be anything other than it was, I would have posted in under the SoCal Freshwater section. If you think 90% of the post on this site are not bragging your out of your mind. If it was not bragging then there wouldn't be any photos attached just a report. If a guy post a picture of a big fish, quess what he is bragging and you know what good for him. If he catches a big bass, trout, catfish etc. he deserves to brag.

Way to many haters on this site. Take it for what it was a picture of a bear and a joke.
