A crowd of 536 eager anglers both big and small showed up to fish the Westren Outdoor News Tournament today at the lake. Westren Outdoor News put on quite the show with a huge tackle pack awarded to the top 10 anglers that included a rod and reel combo from Phulger, a Rapala tackle pack, Patzkees dough bait and other swag. On top of that those top 10 where entered into the drawing for the Sea Eagle 385ft inflatable kayak. Tons of fish where brought up to the scales and it would take a fish over the 4lb mark to make the cut.

Well I have my trolling toys ready.But I know I can do better on shore.But im always up for slaying
either way fellas ! I want to say congrats to Ms. Singleton,young,black,and a female angler at that!
Start them young so when we get old she can put us to shame !!

Congrats to all, except for one, on the won tournament. I'm not going to mention any names but the guy who weighed in the 4.66 lbs showed up after the 1:00 pm weigh in. Shame on you for not showing any integrity.
