The Lagoon...11/12 Friday

hey everyone,

I had never been to Irvine Lake so the missus and i took my 2 and 4 yo sons today. Beautiful day...no wind. We got there around 8...no line to get in. The nice guy at the gate told us about the Kids Lagoon so we went in to the far corner. Got one early on chartreuse Power Bait. Got one hanging a orange Power Worm. Got one on a Power Worm/Power Bait combo. Farmed a few. Had to leave at prime time (about 2:30...the missus was getting restless). Left with 4...the guy next to us gave us one.

We all had a blast...great time. Sorry no pics. Next time for sure.

Been fishin it for 30 yrs now.
There are truly some monster fish in the big lake. I MEAN MONSTER !!! :EyePop::EyePop:
