I heard they were scheduled for a 10:00 am plant, but when I left at 1:00 it hadn't happened yet. Anyone know if it actualy happened ?

BTW striper bite is slowly coming back for those fishing artificials. I caught a 3-4 pounder early and farmed one or two. The guys using bait-n-wait were doing pretty well for schoolies.

....and with the wind dying down things will get better. (he said confidently) Man, the big boys were jumping mid lake early in the morning. Looked like tunas.

I'm going friday, has anyone been back since last week? I'm looking to catch both trout and stripers, hopefully on a 4" swimbait I got last month just for this occasion. Would ramp 2 be best for both species, or east end?
Nice going on the 3-4 lber PAW!

They have the same owner and rules as Diamond Valley Lake..... so No.
Jag, I was there Tuesday and Today (Wed.) Striper bite is off right now. I have been able to eek out a few here and there on Topwaters. I caught a nice big trout today on the east end while fishing for bass with a senko. If the wind dies down a bit things may turn around, but the anticipated trout-triggered striper bite hasn't really traken off......yet.

I'll see you there Friday. Grey Tracker

Thanks, PAW. So the east end would be good for trout? How far east from the dock? I've never made it back there very far.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, it was like 2 coves east. I don't know if there are any trails to get there. I think the trout are sort of spreading out along both east arms (ramp 2 area and dock area). Most seem to be running in and out of the coves. They seem to be fairly aggressive so a roostertail might be a good bet. As I said, the one I got was by chance while bass fishing.
