there used to be a sweet quarry/lost lake of the 60 freeway on valley way and 34th street near roubidoux . huge bass , bluegill the size of dinner plates and crappie galore.. does anyone know if it's closed or doesn't exist anymore?are there any more quarries with fishing access left?

The quarry you are talking about is now Oak Quarry Golf Course. They have pictures of their ponds/lakes on their website, looks sweet. GL fishing there though, someone posted on here a while back about repeatedly getting kicked out.

I think Peck Road Park used to be a quarry, now it is a "park", open for fishing. Supposed to be tough.
Most quarry's in Cali seem to be pretty off-limits, unless you are a l337 ninja. Liability keeps them locked down.
Some of the best bass fishing I've had was in old quarry's back in Washington State...good times.

everyone wants to know the consequences so they can judge for themselves if its worth it to ninja.... i say dont tell anyone and let them find out the hard way >:D ninjas gotta do their own recon!

Ive been to the P-Pit a few times. Some huge huge bass in there.

I used to sneak in there as a kid. Lived in the neighborhood across Sierra ave from there. Fishing was awesome! There were salamanders and frogs in the spring. I think we got caught nearly every time we went in there and to this day I have no idea how the sheriff always seemed to know someone was trespassing....

Yes - we are here. We just keep quiet. The Oak Quarry pit is VERY fishable if ur willing to pop a tube in there or something; otherwise, the shore fishing access is limited. Ninja only - good luck fishing there during golf hours...

Yes - we are here. We just keep quiet. The Oak Quarry pit is VERY fishable if ur willing to pop a tube in there or something; otherwise, the shore fishing access is limited. Ninja only - good luck fishing there during golf hours...

stripers are on the chew and lmb bass hit anything that makes noise. all good size fish as for getting in there. every man should find there own way in this world and fishing holes..=)

He actually caught the the fish that are displayed in bass pro shops there I was supposed to go and help him out but unfortunately I had to work

they told us they called the sheriffs but we never seen them and got outta there never would have got cought if the fool i was with wasnt tweekin in his tackle box with his flashlight on cought 4 nice bass on red and black senco before we got spotted

Peck pit is a tough lake i dont think is worth the drive from sfv just my opinion youll be better off going like to hansen dam or somewere closer.
