Yesterday I decided to check out my local spot since we had rain the night prior and hoping to catch me a striper...No luck on the striper but caught three bass instead. Not sure what I am doing wrong...i.e. lure choice, technique or whatever but I seem to catch the LMB over a striper. Any help to get my over to the bigger fish?268852688426883

Congrats on your catch.
That lookes like a pretty small lure.
If you want big fish, use big lures, like the KPN Skinny Shad.

Thanks, I will get something alittle bigger. The KPN looks like a good choice, thanks again.

HAY R,RICK,,,,,,#1 most important duct striper fact,,,,,To learn duct stripers, concentrate on the fast water just below the gates,,,along the edges 2 to 10 feet off the bank,,,,,,try to cast to the other side just a few inches from the edge ,,that way you fish 2 payoff zones on every cast,,,,,,,The KPN or some kind of white jig,or fluke would be a great 1st choice,,,ALL JUST MY OPPINION Ofcourse,,,,,,,,,it,l happen if you stay at it,,,Congrats on breaking the skunk with the GREENBACKS
