Hello Anglers,

As reported by fellow Irvine Staff Members Vineline and VineAssist, this years Trout bite has been tremendous the last few days, and it looks to be even better as the season continues. Please respect our Lake Rules and Regulations on the quantity of fish caught (5). The lake has been stocked 20,000lbs full of Rainbows, Steelhead, and Brown Trout during the opening week and it has been evident with all the great reports/photos.

This post has a few fishing shots that were taken from the Patrol, to share. If you guys see the staff or patrol boat around and want to show/share a sizeable trout or stringer please wave us down, or bring up to the tackle shop-! We'll be sure to post or share here on FNN Irvine Lake Reports or www.irvinelake.net

----on the water / patrol quick report----

11/8/10
66.5-67.9 water temps
rain, to drizzle, to cloudy/sunny skies/ 40-70 degrees

With fishing pressure noticeable in other key coves and shorelines, the flats and other coves have began to harbor the schooling trout...Steelhead have been seen running through trollers in bands of "2-3 rods hitting at once"
, and some of the heftier 'Bows and Browns have been seen moving in the other coves/shoreline across the lake...The shore fisherman by the docks and santiago flats area were getting hit well with fish, stringers and 2nd limit passes bought by noontime/12pm (from tackleshop or with Patrol / who now carry on the fly)! Stringers of Trout, mixed with Catfish and Crappie now being seen!
